Concrete’s May issue includes an article from @Tim Gledstone from @Squire & Partners who have sensitively refurbished and extended the iconic Grade II-listed Space House in Covent Garden. The retrofit creates 23,690m2 of high-quality workspace, contemporary and flexible retail space at ground floor, and an improved public realm. The revitalisation of the landmark has preserved and enhanced the building to allow people to work and socialise in and around its outstanding 20th-Century architecture once more.
The May issue of Concrete also includes a piece from @Martin Arnold from @Careys who reports on a major contract for Edinburgh Airport, where managing logistics has been as important as dealing with the weather and wide experience with placing pavement-quality concrete.
