Tilbury Douglas are offering a technical talk on Derriford Hospital and showcase the technical complexities of delivering state-of-the-art oncology treatment facilities.

The UHP oncology unit extension is situated within a former courtyard car park. It consists of a two-story reinforced concrete frame, a steel-framed third story, and single-story steel sections. Features include concrete medical linear accelerator (LINAC) and High Dose-Rate Brachytherapy (HDR) bunkers, recovery rooms, and open-plan office for treatment planning.

Adrian Izod, Project Manager at Tilbury Douglas, will give an insightful presentation followed by a 30mins session by Denise Roberts from LKAB Minerals. Light breakfast will be provided.
