The Concrete Society Scotland Region is pleased to announce a unique opportunity to visit Glensanda Super Quarry.

Opened in 1986, situated on the shore of Loch Linnie on the west coast of Scotland, Glensanda is the largest granite quarry in Europe. The overall scale of the operation is immense, with an annual output of some 7 million tonnes.

The tour will begin with an induction, hot drinks & rolls. The visit will then comprise an introduction and overview of the site and finishing with a tour of the quarry itself & its operations. Lunch will also be provided.

Departing by boat 08:00am from Aggregate Industries Rhugh Garbh Depot, Barcaldine, Argyll, PA37 1SE, the tour will conclude at 15:30pm, arriving back at Rhugh Garbh for 16:00pm.

Space will be extremely limited and as such early booking is required.
