Applications for Member or Fellow grade must be submitted using the appropriate application form(s), accompanied by evidence of your qualifications and/or a summary of your professional experience. A fee is payable at the point of application. Applications will be allocated to and reviewed by an independent assessor within 60 days. If the assessor requires any additional information to support the application, the applicant has 60 days to provide that information before the application process is closed. These grades are available exclusively to current members of the Concrete Society, and applications are welcome at any time throughout the year. If you would like to apply for MCS or FCS please contact membership@concrete.org.uk for the relevant application forms. A one-time fee of £60 + VAT applies for the Member (MCS) grade and £100 + VAT for the Fellow (FCS) grade. This fee must be submitted with your application and is partially refundable (£35) if the application is unsuccessful. Please note: MCS and FCS designatory letters may only be used by current, fully paid-up members of the Concrete Society. If membership lapses for more than six months, the application process must be repeated to regain MCS/FCS status. Requirements
