Introducing the Concrete Society MCS and FCS Qualifying Grades Members of the Society are invited to apply for the qualifying grades which enable members to demonstrate that they have significant knowledge and experience of concrete. Members who qualify for these grades are presented with an official certificate and are entitled to use the letters MCS or FCS after their name. Awards 2010 The Concrete Society Awards initiative now enters its 42nd year! The Awards recognize excellence in the use of concrete for New Structures (both civil engineering and building), Mature structures, and our more recent Concrete Performance award presented for outstanding use of concrete in key critical applications.
